Hypertension or high blood pressure is the increase of pressure in the arteries, that carry blood from the heart to organs and tissues of the body. Emotional tension or stresses can be the cause of a hypertension. Blood pressure between 110/70 and 120/80 is considered to be the normal one. Pre-hypertension is a tension when blood pressure is between 120/80 and 140/90. If blood pressure in higher than 140/90 it is called hypertension. Constant high blood pressure may lead to various health problems, such as kidney damage, stroke, heart attack or eye diseases.
