Optique Jaufeerally was set up by Mr. HR Jaufeerally in 1962 at Cosmos Store in the same premises as today. In 1984, the Port Louis branch was opened which included an optical surfacing workshop. In 1991, Mr. Karim Jaufeerally joined the practice and in 1999 a third branch was opened in Stanley, Rose Hill.

Optique Jaufeerally is involved in most aspects of optometry, such as eye examinations, contact lens fitting and dispensing, retail sale of ophthalmic frames and lenses and the wholesale of ophthalmic lenses.

In our workshops we manufacture ophthalmic lenses for the local market and we glaze lenses to frames. Frame repairs can also be undertaken.
