Prosnag (Mtius) has been doing professional snags since 2008. The professional team consisting of a team leader and snaggers has been snagging the Tamarina Golf, Spa and Beach club villas, Caudan waterfront 3rd phase and is actually snagging the Villas Valriche project.
Our aim is do site visits in view of producing documents as guidelines for the contractor, so that the latter can correct defects before the finishing stage. These documents usually called the “progressive assessment summary” are issued in favour of the contractor, the architect and the client/buyer. Attending to defects before getting to the finishing stage of a construction is a gain in time and money.
The next step will be a follow up of all items (listed with unique case numbers), so as to determine which items have been attended or not. Security issues and major outstanding works are classified as important.
After completion of works, site visits are done and a “snag list” is then issued. The snag list will have all the unattended items of the “progressive assessment summary” plus all new items regarding the finishing of works. At this stage we are the eyes of the architect on site. All items regarding hollowness, patching and cracks in rendering, inhomogeneous paint works, dents to timber works etc… are listed. The functionality of the internal and external openings and verified and a follow up of major and security items.
